My Review of my Weathertech floor liners

They’re really nice and very effective for the price you pay.

For my Lexus, since they fasten down the floor mats to prevent dumbasses from having the throttle pressed by a rug , they included fresh pegs but the liners were tight enough to fit properly for the OEM pegs.

I don’t even have anything but water kept inside the car but it’s already prevented accumulation of shedding dog hair, random bits of paper and other folderol that tends to accumulate if you drive a car regularly.

Maybe it definitely proves I am old now, but I’m damn excited to have gotten this for a present.

I find Weathertechs to be a bit slippery and thin, but they’re still better than carpet or flat rubber OEM mats.... to a point.

Mopar is finally stepping its game up and a lot of their mats (like the ones in my Ram) are just like WT’s but thicker, more rubbery, and more grippy.

I have WTs in my Durango only because Mopar doesn’t offer a mat that covers the 2nd and 3rd rows as perfectly as WT does.

I really like the Weathertechs, but you are right - kinda thin.  I wear through them pretty quickly on the drivers side with my heal.

Second this - I expected thicker, but I’m very satisfied so far. I will report if it wears prematurely.

I’ve been really impressed with the Maxpider 3D mats in my Volvo. They have held up well, clean up well, look nice and don’t move at all. Just another option if you ever need to replace.

Neat - I never expected to get excited about this stuff but if I need a replacement I will investigate Maxpider.

I got one to put back in the cargo area to both protect it and keep shit from sliding around and it’s worked perfectly. I agree that it was thinner than I expected but it fit perfectly and I haven’t noticed any wear issues.

I’m jealous. WT doesn’t even make them for my Mustang . Sure, it’s a 1995 model, but that interior was still in production as late as 2004. What gives?

Strange - there are still so many of those on the road, you would think it would be a huge market for them. I can’t fathom why they wouldn’t.

Those look nice, but alas not available for my car.

Get a different car based solely on the availability of these particular mats?

WT doesn’t even make a set for my 2006 Mazdaspeed 6, which would be no different than a normal 2002-2008 Mazda 6.

Yup, I’m a huge fan. And the ones in my S8 started to rub a heel hole in them, just scuffed off the top layer, and I emailed weathertech, sent some photos and had replacements within a week.

I’m sold.  You pay a few bucks for them, but definitely worth it.  Especially in the winter.  My floor liners were white all winter because of the salt.

They will replace them for you if you contact customer service.  Got my replacements in less than a week.

They mats seem to differ wildly from vehicle to vehicle. In my dad’s ‘10 Charger, the mats are thin and super slippery. In my wife’s ‘11 tC, the mats are rather thick and very grippy.

It seems silly for them to be so different on a vehicle by vehicle basis.
